Police Report on Attempted Suicide 06-03-01

Johny DePinto On 06-03-01 at 2130hrs I responded to 111 Younger St. along with Sgt. Schulueter #59, PTL. Lampzasi #156, PTL. McCarthy #172, PTL. Turner #178 Reference a Welfare check. Mrs. DePinto reported that her husband, Johnny DePinto, cut his wrist in an attempt to commit suicide. Upon arrival all officers made contact with Johnny DePinto. After speaking with him for several minutes it was learned that Johnny DePinto put his left hand through the back window and scratched his left wrist. His right wrist had no marks and Johnny DePinto stated that he had no intention of hurting himself whatsoever. Johnny DePinto was offered first aid and verbally refused.

The picture shown is actually the condition of the door after the break in of Johnny DePinto 06-13-01, at the time of this incidence there was only one window pane broken. Footnote: This police report was created as a result of an attempt to retrieve all of mine and my childrens personal belongings that had been thrown over the front yard where they had been sitting for over a week. Myself, along with 2 close male friends of mine came with a pick-up truck to retrieve my belongings. I NEVER left the vehicle. Mr. DePinto came up to the vehicle with his wrists all cut up, and claimmed that he did this because he could not live with out me. At that point I called the police in fear that he would suceed in his suicide attempt. The attached picture proves the theory that it would have been nearly impossible for Mr. DePinto to have broken a window with his left hand in order to gain entry!! Also the window that he claims was broken was ALREADY boarded up, however the blood on his wrists was still wet??? 2. The window was indeed broken, however it was broken 2 days prior by a friend of his, after John had stated to him that he was going to commit suicide. The window was broken by his friend in order to gain entry into the house. Also, as I drove away, following the police out of my street with my 2 friends ( witnesses), John proceeded to call my cell phone to laugh at me stating that he has complete control over everyone, and that before this is all said and done he will make me out to look crazy!!! Indeed he tried!!
